Our value based approach to measuring charities' impact

We strive for clarity in the way we work with our clients and how we present charity research findings. We aim to use plain English and ‘plain figures’.
We listen to our clients and the people they support. We believe strongly in the value of co-production in charity evaluation.
We are objective and professional. Helping charities to understand the outcomes they achieve and their overall impact sometimes involves challenging assumptions and perceptions. We do this respectfully and constructively.
We behave ethically. Conducting research with people supported by charities carries risks – for example the risk of breaching their privacy, or asking questions that cause distress. We manage these risks carefully. When appropriate we consult university based colleagues or ethics committees.
